Weigel Broadcasting stations WCWW, CW 25 and WBND, ABC 57 are now available in High Definition (HDTV) broadcasting. Weigel Broadcasting’s WMYS, My Michiana 69 is now also broadcast digitally in Standard Definition (SDTV). An upgrade to HDTV transmission will be added at a later date. The new HD signals on CW 25 and ABC 57 provide South Bend viewers a wider, clearer and state of the art picture. CW 25’s, ABC 57’s and My Michiana 69’s digital signals are available in South Bend with an antenna and through Comcast Cable. These digital signals will be available on satellite when Dish Network and Direct TV offer local station services.While sports fans will love the games in HD, entertainment fans will experience the same remarkable audio and video in prime time. Many network programs are available in high definition on CW 25 and ABC 57. For ABC network shows available in HD log on to www.abc57.com. For CW network programming in HD log on to www.thecw25.comWCWW, CW 25’s high definition signal will air on channel 27. However, South Bend television viewers will see it on channel 25.1. WBND, ABC 57’s high definition signal will air on channel 49. Viewers will see it on channel 57.1. WMYS, My Michiana 69’s digital signal will air on channel 23. Viewers will see on channel 69.1 Viewers who use an antenna will need to reset their television sets to see the stations’ new digital signals. To reset, use you remote control to do an auto scan of the channels. Each television set model is different and specific instructions are in the owner’s manual.
