My Wife and Kids stars Damon Wayans as Michael Kyle, a loving husband and modern-day patriarch who rules his household with a unique and distinct parenting style. When wife Janet (Tisha Campbell-Martin) becomes a stock market trailblazer, his life as he knows it changes forever.

His only son Jr. (George O. Gore II) idolizes gangster rap stars instead of him. His moody, adolescent daughter Claire (Jennifer Nicole Freeman) addresses him only when she wants something. And his youngest daughter Kady (Parker McKenna Posey) rarely lets her Daddy have the last word.

As he teaches his three children some of life's lessons, he does so with his own brand of wisdom, discipline and humor. With Wayans at the helm, this is no ordinary family comedy.
